The last three days spent at the Estoril circuit in Portugal were demanding but highly satisfying. All 27 drivers on track were getting their first taste of the new car built by Dallara for the GP3 Series. Compared with the earlier model, the new version has been improved with a new aerodynamic kit and, above all, a much more powerful engine. Further problems were caused by the climate: cold and rain alternating with sunny intervals made tyre strategies more complicated. For my part, I am very happy with the work undertaken by the Jenzer team: precise, rapid and efficient. We were consistently in the top 8 in all conditions, in what is the most competitive GP3 championship field ever.
The first sensations are very positive. I’m very confident about our potential.
