Ready for the off

The last GP3 Series pre-season tests were completed at Silverstone yesterday.
Just as at Estoril and Barcelona, in England we again maintained a consistent top 10 position, with significant times in the Top 5 too.
For the first time during this session I was supervised on track by the Lotus representatives fresh from their trip to Australia and Malaysia that saw the team score its first Formula 1 victory of the season.
The Lotus headquarters is actually just fifty kilometres or so from the Silverstone circuit. In effect, this time around I was to some extent on home turf. They were two very positive days for both me and the Jenzer team, culminating with the fourth-best time overall.
In a month's time the championship will be underway in parallel with the Formula 1 series and, honestly, I can’t wait to take to the track. My adversaries are tough, quick, and experienced, the tracks are exhilarating and the stage is the best in the world: we’re ready!
