The intensive 2023 season for Alex Fontana and Centri Porsche Ticino continues with the Hankook 24H Barcelona, the second race this year for the Swiss driver in the 24H Series, an endurance championship principally oriented towards GT cars.
The crew at the wheel of the Porsche 911 GT3 R number 23 will be composed of Ivan Jacoma, general manager of Centri Porsche Ticino, Alex Fontana, Yannick Mettler and Hash, returning after a leg injury sustained last winter that has kept him away from the sport for some months while continuing to benefit from Car Collection Motorsport’s technical support.
His recovery began with simulator sessions, in which the United States gentleman driver was assisted by Fontana in his role as a racing driver coach. Hash now has the opportunity to return to the track with Centri Porsche Ticino in the higher GT3 Pro/Am class thanks to the professional status of Fontana and Mettler, drivers of great international standing.
The night practice session will get underway at 8:45 PM, while on Saturday the 16 th of September the race will start at midday on the dot, with the chequered flag falling on the Sunday, 24 hours later.
